Note :

★ a^m × a^n = a^(m + n)

★ a^m / a^n = a^(m - n)

★ (a^m)^n = a^mn

★ (a × b)ⁿ = aⁿ × bⁿ

★ (a / b)ⁿ = aⁿ / bⁿ

★ a^0 = 1

★ 1^x = 1

★ (-1)^(even no.) = 1

★ (-1)^(odd no.) = -1

★ a^m = b => a = b^(1/m)

Solution :

  • Given : x^¼ = 4 , y^½
  • To find : x^¾ + y^5/2 = ?

x^¾ + y^5/2

= (x^¼)^3 + (y^½)^5

= 4^3 + 3^5

= 64 + 243

= 307

Hence ,
