each of the following x+1/x = ?

  • x² + 1/x² = 27 -----------equ(1)

\Large{\underline{\mathfrak{\tt{\orange{Find}}}}}

  • Value of x + 1/x

\Large{\underline{\underline{\mathfrak{\tt{\red{Explanation}}}}}}

We know,

( a + b)² = a² + 2ab + b²

=> (a² + b²) = (a + b)² - 2ab

So,

==> (x + 1/x)² = x² + 1/x² + 2 *x * 1/x

==> (x + 1/x)² = x² + 1/x² + 2

Keep Value by equ(1)

==> (x + 1/x)² = 27 + 2

==> (x + 1/x)² = 29

==> ( x + 1/x ) = √29

Hence

  • Value of (x + 1/x) = 29
