if x²-2x+1=0 then find the value of x^100+1/x^100​

We have : x + 1/x = 2 , we simplify that and get

x^2 + 1 = 2x

x2 - 2x + 1 = 0

x2 - x - x + 1 = 0

x ( x - 1 ) - 1 ( x - 1 ) = 0

( x - 1 ) ( x - 1 ) = 0

So ,

x = 1

Then we substitute x = 1 in x^100 + 1/x^100 , and get

x^100 + 1/x^100 =1^100 + 1/1^100 = 1 + 1 = 2 ( Ans )

x² -1x - 1x + 1 = 0

=>

x { x - 1 } - { x - 1 } = 0

=>

{ x - 1 } = 0

=>

x = 1

So, x^100 + 1/x^100 = { 1 + 1 } = 2
