Solution:-

=> x² - 2x + 1 = 0

by splitting mid term

=> x² - x - x + 1 = 0

=> x ( x - 1 ) - 1 ( x - 1 ) = 0

=> ( x - 1 ) ( x - 1 ) = 0

=> x - 1 = 0 or x - 1 = 0

in both case we get

=> x = 1

now put x = 1 in below

=> x + 1/3

= 1 + 1/3

= ( 3 + 1 )/3

= 4/3

Hence x + 1/3 = 4/3.
