If x² is directly proportional to y if x=9 and y=4 then find the value of x if y becomes 4/9​

Mathematically it can be expressed as

X=k/y

Where k is some constant value

Substitute the given values of x and y in the above equation

9=k/15

=>k =9*15

=>k=135

In second statement it is given as y=30 and we need to find the value of x

Substitute the same in above equtaion

X*y=k

X*30=135

X=135/30

=> x=4.5
