Hi Friend !!!
Here is ur answer !!!
x²+k-3 = (x-3)(x+1)
x²+k-3 = x²-3x+x-3
k = -2x
Hope it helps u : )

Hey mate !!
Here's the answer !!
Given:
x² + k - 3 = ( x - 3 ) ( x + 1 )
Taking RHS into consideration,
= ( x - 3 ) ( x + 1 )
= x² + x - 3x - 3
= x² -2x - 3
So equating LHS and RHS we get,
x² + k - 3 = x² - 2x - 3
x² and - 3 gets cancelled on both sides. After that we get,
=> k = - 2x
Hope my answer helps !!
Cheers !!
