To find : - Value of (xy + yz + zx) .

Now,

Now, putting the values , we get,

(0)² = 20 + 2 (xy + yz + zx)

=> 2(xy + yz + zx) = 0 - 20

=> (xy + yz + zx ) = - 20/2

=> xy + yz + zx = - 10

Given that : - (x² + y² + z²) = 24 and (xy + yz + zx) = 20

To find : - Value of (x + yz + z) .

NOW ,

(x + y + z)² = (x² + y² + z²) + 2(xy + yz + zx)

Now, putting the values , we get,

(x + y + z)²= 24 + 2*20

=> (x + y + z)² = 24 + 40

=> (x + y + z)² = 64

=> (x + y + z)² = (8)²

=> (x + y + z) = 8

So , Required Answer is 8 .
