Answer:

x⁴ + 1/x⁴ = 623 ---( 1 )

Add 2 both sides of the equation

( x² )² + ( 1/x² )² + 2 = 623 + 2

( x² + 1/x² )² = 625

x² + 1/x² = √ ( 25 )²

= 25 ---( 1 )

Add 2 both sides of equation ( 2 ),

x² + 1/x² + 2 = 25 + 2

( x + 1/x )² = 27

x + 1/x = √27

= 3√3

I hope this helps you.

Answer:

x^4 + 1/x^4 = 623

(x^2 +1/x^2)^2 -2 = 623

(x^2 +1/x^2)^2 = 625

(x^2 + 1/x^2) = 25

(x+1/x)^2 -2 =25

(x+1/x)^2 = 27

x+1/x = 3√3
