(X+1/x) ^2= x^2 +1/x^2 + 2
(x+ 1/x) ^2 = 62 +2
(x+1/x) ^2= 64

(x+1/x)^2=x^2+1/x^2+2
.°.x+1/x=under root 62+2
=under root 64
which is equal to 8

Rajat1111112: please tell whole procesz
adyabharadwaj: Actually it's a formula so basically u just have to use it
adyabharadwaj: The basic formula is a+b whole square or (a+b)^2=a^2+b^2+2ab
adyabharadwaj: accordingly the sign and variable changes with question
adyabharadwaj: here we have 1/x & X so 2ab becomes just 2
adyabharadwaj: amp*x
