Answer:

Given, xy=10

x

=

10

if xy=16, then how x and y will vary Inversely from each other

Variation:

Direct proportion/variation :

if a variable increases then other variable also increases with a constant factor   y = kx

Inverse  proportion/variation:

if a variable increases then other variable decreases with a  constant factor  xy = k

Given that xy = 16  and 16 is a constant number

Hence x and y will vary inversely from each other

Joint  proportion/variation is a relationship between atleast three variables,

where one variable varies directly with all other variables.

y = kxz

Combined proportion/Variation  is a relationship between three or more variables where it is in direct variation with few variable

and in inverse  variation with other variable  y = kx/z

Hence, if xy=16, then how x and y will vary Inversely from each other
