Given : xy= 180 and HCF (x,y) = 3,

To Find :  lcm(x, y)

Solution:

LCM - Least common Multiplier

HCF - Highest Common Factor

LCM ( x , y) . HCF ( x , y)   = x . y

xy= 180

HCF (x,y) = 3,

=> LCM ( x , y) . 3  = 180

Dividing both sides by 3

=> LCM ( x , y)     = 60

LCM ( x , y)     = 60
