=

 {(xy)}^{4}

 = xy  = 2 \sqrt{3}

16 \times  \sqrt{3 \times 3 \times 3 \times 3}

16 \times   { \sqrt{3} }^{2} \times   \sqrt{3 ^{2} }

16 \times 3 \times 3

16 \times 9 = 144
