If y=1/a-z,find dz/dy?

Here is your ans mate .

Solve for z in terms of y, and then differentiate with respect to y.

y = 1/(a - z)

I assume "a" is a constant.

a - z = 1/y

z = a - 1/y

dz/dy = 1/y^2
