Answer:

factor = (y-1)

y = 1

let f(x) = y³-2y²+my+4

putting y=1 in in f(x) R=0 , by factor Theorem

=> f(1) = 1³-2×1¹+m×1+4

=> 0 = 1-2+m+4

=> 0= 3+m

=> -3 = m

value of m = -3
