then use formula
(y+1/y) ³=y³+1/y³+3y×1/y(y+1/y)
put the above value
12³= y³+1/y³+ 3(12)
12³-12×3=y³+1/y³
12(12²-3) = y³+1/y³
12×141= y³+1/y³
1410+282=y³+1/y³
