If y=2-0.5x find the gradient

Gradient is nothing but just the SLOPE.

Both are same.

Given equation :-

→ y = 2 - 0.5x

→ y = -0.5x + 2 ( In standard form )

Equation of line in standard form is

y = mx + c

Where,

m is the SLOPE

& C is the intercept

On comparing it with given equation.

We get, GRADIENT = SLOPE = - 0.5 = -1/2 __________ (Ans.)

Hope it helps...
