if y^2 + 10y^2=11 find the value y-1/y​

11y² = 11

y² = 11/11

y² = 1

y = √1

y = ±1

when y = 1

y - 1/y

1 - 1/1

1 - 1

= 0

when y = -1

-1 - (1/-1)

= 0

You can take only 1 value of y = 1
