Note, a straight line has 180 degree angle at any point.......<--- at least that's what maths says.......Lol.
So, proving that ∠AOB = 180° would suffice.....
Now,
The complete ∠O is 8y + 4x = 360°
Substituting values for y, we have x=(360° - 160°)/4 = 50°
Now,
∠AOB = 2y + 3x - 10° = 40° + 150° - 10° = 180°.........
