Hello Dear!!!

Here's your answer....

Given,

p(x) = y^3-2y^2-9y+18

Zero of y-3 is

y - 3 =0

y = 3

Substitution

y^3-2y^2-9y+18

(3)^3 - 2(3)^2 -9(3) + 18

27-2(9)-27+18

27-27+18-18

0

It is the factor...

y - 3 is the factor of p(x)
