Solution :

y = 3x² + 2x + 6

dy/dx

=> d/dx [ 3x² + 2x + 6 ]

=> d(3x²)/dx + d(2x)/dx + d/dx(6)

=> 3 d( x² )/dx + 2 d( x )/dx + 6 d( 1 )/dx

=> 3 . 2 x ² + 2

=> 6x² + 2.

Answer :

dy/dx = 6x² + 2 .

Additional Information

d/dx ( x^n ) = n • x^( n - 1 ) .

d ( constant ) / dx = 0

d ( x ) / dx = 1 .
