\sf\underline\red{Given:}

  • y is directly proportional to 1/x and x=2 when y=20
  • And Y=4 in second case

\sf\underline\orange{To\:find:-}

  • The value of x if y =4

\sf\underline\blue{Solution:}

Here,

\sf\frac{1}{x}=2 when y=20

And,

x=? when y=4

We get to know that This a case of \sf\pink{Direct\: Variation}.

Therefore,

A/Q

\sf\frac{1}{2}\20=\sf\frac{x}{4}

\frac{1}{2}×20=\sf\frac{x}{4}

\frac{10}{1}=\sf\frac{x}{4}

\sf{10×4=x}

\sf{40=x}

\sf\fbox\purple{x=40}

Therefore,the value of \sf\green{x=40} when y=4.
