If it is directly proportional then their quotient should be same.

So, 10/5=x/6

2=x/6

x=12.

Therefore, constant of proportionality is 2 and the value of x is 12.

Answer:

0.5 is constant of proportionality  with assumptions

otherwise data is not sufficient to get constant of proportionality

Step-by-step explanation:

Y ∝ aX + b

for x = 10

5 = 10a + b

if we assume that b = 0

then

5 = 10a

a = 0.5

0.5 is constant of proportionality  if b = 0

otherwise data is not sufficient to get constant of proportionality.
