if y is inversely propotional to (2x-3)² and y is -5 when p is 1
a) find the value of y when x is 2.5
b) find the value of x when y is 5/27

Y is proportional to (2x-3)^2 therefore 1/y is taken to form equation.

(b)

Y=5/27, but y Is proportional to (2x-3)^2, thus reciprocate the y to form an equation. Then simplify.

18/5 is the answer.
