Answer:

dy/dx=2/x

Explanation:

There are 2 possible approach

Approach 1

differentiate using the chain rule

______________________

d/dx(log(f(x))) =1/f(x) •f (x)

_____________________

Y= log (X2)

dy/dx = 1/x2 • d/dx (X2) = 1/x2 ×2x= 2/x

Approach 2

Using the low of logs then differentiate

REMINDER _____________

log xn =n log x

_____________

y= log x2 = 2 log x

= dy/dx = 2 × 1/x = 2/ x
