Answer

To Find -

dy/dx

Given Y= Tan x

⇒d(tan x)/dx  =  d/dx[sin x/cos x]

⇒cos x d/dx(sin x)-sin x d/dx(cos x)/cos²x

⇒cos x cos x-sin x(-sin x)/cos²x

⇒cos²x+sin²x/cos²x

⇒1/cos²x

⇒sec²x

if y=tan x then dy/dx will

sec x
