Now, f(y) = (y + 2) / (y - 1)
= [ { (x + 2) / (x - 1) } + 2 } ] / [ { (x+ 2) / (x - 1) } -1 ]
= 3x / 3
= x
Hence, f(y) = x
hence proved.
