Here ..
y/x = 5 ........1
z/x = 4 .........2

adding 1 and 2 , we get

y/x + z/x = 5+4 .
take 1/x common

1/x ( y +z ) = 9
( y+ z ) = 9x



Now it is given their sum is 180.

thus x+y+z = 180
x + 9x = 180. ( y+z = 9x ).
x = 180 /10
x = 18.
