y = x^5 - 3x^2 + 2x

Now,
d(x^n) / dx = n*x^n-1

By this formula,
d(y)/dx = d(x^5-3x^2 + 2x) / dx
= 5*x^5-1 - 3*2*x^2-1 + 2*x1-1
= 5x^4 - 6x

Hence,
dy/dx = 5x^4 - 6x

Hey There!!

Here we are going to use one simple concept:

y=x^n \, \, \implies \frac{dy}{dx} = nx^{n-1}

Using this, we can solve the question as follows:

y=x^5-3x^2+2x \\ \\ \\ \implies \frac{dy}{dx}=5x^4-3\times 2 x^1 + 2\times 1 x^0 \\ \\ \implies \boxed{\frac{dy}{dx}=5x^4-6x+2}

Hope it helps
