Here is your answer,
y = x⁴ - 10 Δx = x₂ - x₁
= 1.99 - 2
Δx = -0.01 ; δx/Δy = ?
dy/dx = 4x³ - 0
dy = 4x³ × dx
= 4(2)³ × (-0.01)
= 4 × (8) × (-0.01)
= 32 × - 0.01
dy = -0.032
Δy = y₂ - y₁
