Answer:

Class 12>>Maths>>Continuity and Differentiability>>Logarithmic Differentiation>>If y = (2x + 3)^(3x - 5), find dydx .

Question

If y=(2x+3)(3x−5), find dxdy.

Solution:-

Given:- y=(2x+3)(3x−5)

To find:- dxdy=?

y=(2x+3)(3x−5)

Taking log both sides, we have

logy=log((2x+3)(3x−5))

logy=(3x−5)log(2x+3)

Now, differentiating both sides w.r.t. x, we have

dxd(logy)=(3x−5).dxd(log(2x+3))+(log(2x+3)).dxd(3x−5)

y1dxdy=(3x−5)(2x+31
