If you apply 2 joule of energy to lift a book of 0.05kg and how high will it rise​

  • Mass ,m = 0.05 kg

To Find:-

  • How high will it rise,h

Solution:-

As we know that the energy possess by body due to its position is called Potential Energy.

The acceleration due to gravity is 10m/s²

• PE = mgh

where,

PE is the Potential Energy

m is the mass of body

h is the height

Substitute the value we get

→ 2 = 0.05 × 10 × h

→ 2 = 0.5 ×h

→ h = 2/0.5

→ h = 20/5

→ h = 4 m

Therefore,the book will be rise is 4 Metres.
