If you are caught in a thunderstorm accompanied by lightning while crossing an open field, do you think it is right if you lie flat on the ground, that is, face downwards? Justify your answer.

yes, absolutely but an open ground because lighting strikes only pointed surfaces because of charge tension...so lying flat increased striking surface area....and u will be actually saved.
