Hey there!

20% of a = 20/100 * a = a/5

40% of a = 40/100* a = 2a/5

20% of b = 20/100 * b = b/5

40% of b= 40/100*b = 2b/5

Given,

20% of a and 40% of b is 230, and 40% of a and 20% of b is 190

a/5 + 2b/5 = 230 ... Equation ( 1 )

2a/5 + b/5 = 190 ... Equation (2)

Now ,
a + 2b = 1150 ... (3)
2a + b = 950 ...(4)

(3) * 2 - (4 )

2a + 4b = 2300
2a + b = 950
==============
3b = 1350
b = 1350/3 = 450

Now, a + 2b = 1150
a + 900 = 1150
a = 250 .

Percentage of b with respect of a = b/a * 100 = 450/250 * 100 = 900/5 = 180%

Percentage of b more than a = 180a- 100a = 80%

Therefore, b is 80% more than a
