If you are given some copper sulphate crystals ,how would you proceed to prepare its saturated solution in room temperature ?give practical details.how can you show that your solution is saturated.

To know if solution is Saturated :
Add more solute, if the added solute settles down the solution is Saturated

Before writing this answer we need to know first what is saturated solution??

A saturated solution is a solution that contains more solute at that temperature.

So, to do the procedure:-

Take some distilled water in a beaker and add one gram of copper sulphate crystals and then stir it with a glass rod.

Similarly, go on dissolving by vigorous stirring and a stage is reached when no more copper sulphate dissolves. It is now known as saturated solution at this temperature.
