ans:First choose 2 spots.Tell your friend to stand at one of the spots with cracker and pick the other spot for yourself at a distance of 100 meters from the first spot so that you can see the cracker.Performing this experient in dusk will help you see the cracking of the cracker easily.The distance should be measured with the meter tape.Now signal your friend to burn the cracker.Once you see the explosion of the cracker,start the stop watch.Once you hear the sound of the explosion,stop the stop watch.Now you have the time taken by sound to cover 100 meters.So the velocity of sound will be distance divided by time.Hope this answer helped you:)Also make me brainliest answer

Explanation:

Yes… first make him to stand exactly 1 km (or any distance more than 100m ,use tape ) away from explosion. And ask him to start the stopwatch whenever the flash appear and stop when he heard the sound.

Now this is the time taken by the sound to travel a km .

Speed= distance / time

Here we get it in m /sec
