The modern theory that I would apply as a student would be the Systems approach.

• The modern theory of management is of three types quantitative, contingency, and systems approach. These approaches help in meeting the objectives of the company and motivating the employees.
• The systems approach is pursued by setting up goals that would lead to the achievement of organizational objectives. Thus, it can also be applied in the life of a student. Through this approach, one can set goals and strive on achieving them.
• It enables in boosting the confidence and working harder to succeed. The way it is used in the organization by dividing the objective into different components, we can also divide the ultimate objective by setting goals.
• For example,  if i want to become a rankholder, then i will have to study and give equal importance to all subjects. For this, I can divide my entire day for studying different subjects. In this way, I will be able to learn all the subjects and score well.
