In a deck of cards, (52 in total)

there are 4 ace, number of red cards= 26( Hearts and Diamonds) , number of club cards = 13  and number of a '5' card is 4

Answer i-

∵ number of ace is 4 and the total number of cards in a deck is 52, then,

the probability of getting an ace is:

number of card name given ÷ total number of cards

⇒ 4/52 ⇒ 1/13

Answer ii)

∵ number of red cards is 26 and the total number of cards in a deck is 52, then,

number of card name given ÷ total number of cards

⇒ 26/52 ⇒ 1/2

Answer iii)

∵ number of club cards is 13 and the total number of cards in a deck is 52, then,

number of card name given ÷ total number of cards

⇒ 13/52⇒ 1/4

Answer iv)

∵ number of a '5' card is 4 and the total number of cards in a deck is 52, then,

number of card name given ÷ total number of cards

⇒ 4/52 ⇒ 1/13
