And,speed of current be y

According to question-

x+y=10 ............(1)

x-y=4 .....,.......(2)

On adding the equations (1) and (2)

we get,

2x=14;x=7

Putting value of x in (1)

y=3

thus,my speed in still water=x=7mts/min

and,speed of current=y=3mts/min
