if you chew chapati for long,after sometime it tastes sweet, why is it so? What do you mean by assimilation?​

When chapati is chewed for some time it taste sweeter because, as you know chapati is carbohydrates and it presents starch. When salivary gland secrets saliva, then it breaks carbohydrates into simple glucose that is heroes. It is generally food in our body by hydrolysis of starch.Assimilation, in anthropology and sociology, the process whereby individuals or groups of differing ethnic heritage are absorbed into the dominant culture of a society.
