if you compress the images in the presentation then what will be the effect on the file ?

By compressing the image in the presentation you are actually reducing the size of the image , that mean the quality of thee image will down and you will  not see the image that much clear that it was before compressing .

Also, because the size is reduced so, the space occupied by the presentation will also reduced .
