we know that,
- Side opposite to larger angle are larger in length .
we have,
→ ∠A = 40° => Angle opposite to BC .
→ ∠B = 50° => Angle opposite to AC .
→ ∠C = 90° => Angle opposite to AB .
then,
→ ∠C > ∠B > ∠A .
therefore,
→ AB > AC > BC .
hence,
- 2) BC < AC .
- 3) BC < AB .
(2) and (3) statements are correct about the triangle .
