Mr Oliver,out Of concern asked the boy to lift his face and tell him what was troubling him
when the light from the torch fell on the boy's face it is said "if u could call it a face"
as it was a featureless face
just a smooth round head and a school cap on top but no eyes, nose, ear, mouth or eyebrows even.
Mr Oliver was shocked and his torch fell from his hand
he ran blindly through the trees in the direction of the school and called out for help.
