If you could have one extra body part ( like a limb or a head), which body part would that be and what would you do with it?​

There are some nice answers around, picking at different parts of the question. I'll try to answer it in two fashions:

1. Novel body part/organ (one which humans/primates do not possess)

2. New body part/organ, but one which we could perhaps improve or could use more of

Of course, to begin we will assume that:

- It is anatomically possible somehow

- New/heightened senses will be accommodated by the brain

- Extra Oxygen requirements are supported completely (e.g. wings will probably require lots of Oxygen to function)

- Human Physiology operates as we know it, but perhaps more efficiently and at a higher rate to compensate for energy requirements

- We still operate within the laws of Physics

I'll try to keep the answer to utility/usefulness for humanity, not what I personally would like. If not, the scope will be too wide.

I will refrain from talking about the psyche, because I think that is cheating.

I'll also try to keep my answer and discussion short because I could write on and on and on.
