The Nagaon community organization has made out methods to uncover the account of Phulaguri Dhawa, which was 150 years after Assam’s first worker revolution.

The revolt, identified as 'Phulaguri dhawa', in which a British judge was murdered and numerous police officers were wounded, was triggered by a limitation inflicted on opium farming and introduced assessment on betel leaf and nut. October 18, 1861, Lt Singer, Third Class Deputy Commissioner, appeared at Phulaguri simultaneously with a jail officer and started discussion with the farmers who had assembled there, but the circumstances soon transformed into violence and Singer, along with a several policemen, were mauled to death and his remains was discharged into the Kollong river.
