Answer:

If air resistance is neglected then the 20 kg and the 5 kg stones will reach the ground at the same time. Galileo had proven this when he dropped simultaneously two bodies of unequal masses in the tower of Pisa.

If air resistance is to be considered then the small stone of 5 kg will reach the ground first because it has lesser volume compared to the 20 kg stone which has a bigger volume.

Since a bigger volume 20 kg stone will displace more air than a smaller volume 5 kg stone, it will encounter a greater buoyant force as it falls.

The smaller volume 5 kg stone will encounter a lesser buoyant force from the surrounding air.

The buoyant force of the air lifts bodies upward while the weights of bodies pull them downward.

In effect the smaller volume 5 kg stone will be faster than the bigger volume 20 kg stone

Answer:Larger one first!

Explanation:Possibly, larger one reaches first. Because it has greater weight and it reachs terminal velocity after small one. It means that large stone has bigger velocity!
