it may or may not go..
because gravity also acts a little in swallowing the food.
when we eat the bolus formed will go in but come down again through our mouth because we are upside down and our head is towards the gravity or earth's surface.
due to the gravitational force the bolus will come down.. and we would vomit.

if we eat food while hanging upside down, it will still go through the alimentary canal.
this is because food reaches the different parts of alimentary canal because of peristalsis and not because of gravitational force.
so even while hanging upside down the food will be formed into a bolus and it will be pushed back by the tongue towards the oesophagus and it will go through the alimentary canal because of peristaltic movements.
