=[3x^3(x-1)-x^2(x-1)-x(x-1)-4(x-1)-5]÷(x-1)

=(3x^3-x^2-x-4) - 5/(x-1).

Thus , Quotient =(3x^3-x^2-x-4). and remainder = -5. Answer.
