Haldi or turmeric is basically used as an indicator it turns reddish brown with bases while remains yellow when comes in contact of acids
Here when soap is applied on the turmeric stain because of the basic nature of soap it turns red....
You can remove the stain by soaking it in water for sometime and again rubbing it with the soap or detergent if the stain is still persistent try vinegar or bleaching powder
