if you had an option of joining the moderates or the extremists,which group would you join and why?

I would join the extremists because although moderates tried to get freedom in non violent manner, it didn't work out. As they believed that they would write petitions to the British as they wanted to have a friendly association with them. But it didn't work out. They just ignored them. I would join the extremists as they realised the futility of petitioning the British. They demanded swaraj or self rule. This is my option.
