‘ We destroy life and pollute the oceans and skies, yet we have the audacity to call ourselves superior beings’. We only use animals to make our profit; we don’t treat them as fellow beings. We keep these Dolphins in small enclosures for entertainment purposes, yet we can’t stand quarantine ourselves. Can you Imagine being stuck in one small room for the rest of your life?. Dolphins have a right of freedom every creature on this planet does. We slaughter dolphins just to make ourselves a piece of paper. Many Dolphins die each year being caught in fishing nets.

We should stop using fishing nets for the sake of dolphins. Line caught fishing is much better and it makes more profit plus it’s dolphin friendly. We never sow we only reap. How much will we lose until we realise that what we are doing to life on this planet is wrong.

When the last tree is cut, and the last fish is killed, the last river poisoned then you will see we can’t eat money.

The white dolphin recently got extinct also known as baiji was declared to be one of the most endangered species identified on earth. But humans never bothered the threat.

There were many reasons identified for the extinction but the main one being nest getting dolphin as bycatch. Other major reason is the habitat destruction.

Both being associated with humans activities.

Like all the other endangered species, we need to take care of dolphins to keep these precious species alive. We need to take care that our activities are not only harmless for other humans but also for any living being.

• Ever since the growth of human population there has been search of new sources of food
• In addition to this there is amount of pollution that is added every year into the sea and ocean. Hence there is biomagnification and this resulted in the death of many dolphin

• Also due to killing of the dolphin for food the dolphin number has decreased even more. Now different environmental is around the world are trying to save the white dolphin. This is a good initiative to maintain the biodiversity in the world and also in the ocean
